POWERWORLD Announce New Singer, Seek Label Home

POWERWORLD, the new German band formed by ex-FREEDOM CALL bassist Ilker Ersin, have announced the addition of singer Steffen Brunner to the group's ranks. The 22-year-old vocalist, who is said to be "one of the leading persons in the German cover band BACKBONE," joins POWERWORLD as the replacement for Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON, MOONLIGHT AGONY, FARO),who left the group in January due to "musical differences."

POWERWORLD recently finished recording their debut album, "The Second Face", tentatively due later in the year through an as-yet-undetermined record label. The CD will be mixed shortly at Dönerland Studios in Hirschaid, Germany.
